Privacy policy
This policy covers the griffithsgames.com website, the Griffiths Games social media accounts, and the internal tools we use to publish our own content to platforms such as YouTube and TikTok. This website
The website has no accounts, forms, analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. It is served by Cloudflare, which processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver the pages and protect against abuse, under its own privacy policy.
Our publishing tools
We use small internal applications to upload and manage videos and posts on our own accounts through the official APIs of platforms such as YouTube (Google) and TikTok. These tools are used only by us. They do not offer sign-in to the public and do not collect data about other people's accounts.
- What they access: the authorisation tokens for our own channels, the videos and captions we upload, and aggregate statistics for our own posts (views, likes, comment counts).
- Comments: to reply to people who comment on our videos, the tools may read public comments on our own posts, including the commenter's public display name. We use these only to respond and to understand what viewers like, and keep them no longer than 12 months.
- Storage: tokens and data are kept on our own computers in the UK and are never sold or shared.
- Google API data: our use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. YouTube API use is also subject to the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.
- Revoking access: access to a Google account can be revoked at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions; access to a TikTok account in TikTok's app settings.
Social media and email
If you message or mention us on social media, or email us, we see whatever you choose to share and use it only to reply. Those platforms process your data under their own policies.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you, or object to how we use it. Email hello@griffithsgames.com. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
